Sabara, more commonly Sabara Winner, is the pen name that I use for everything that I write. Fanfiction, original work, or anything that involves text. The name came from the show Gundam Wing, and more specifically, is from the character Quatre Raberba Winner. Supposidly, Quatre has 99 sisters, and Sabara is one of the 99. This is unoficial of course, and there is never any mention of a Sabara, mostly because she is fictional.
BACKGROUND
I (Sabara Winner) have been writing fanfiction since the age of 14, the very first one being a 'fanwhore' of various anime including Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball Z, Tench Muyo, Pokemon, and various made up characters. The series, called Dragon Ball MIM, contained 3 arcs, and a varied storyline that involved all of the characters, and circled around one original character named Reiless (sometimes the last name Shimasani was tagged on, but there is no origin to the name). The fic was never written online (despite its popularity amung friends), because of various issues throughout the series. Mostly being off color jokes, and some racism that was pointed at random characters in the series. That aside, the series was allready well into its third and final arc by this time, and it was simply too much to retype onto the internet.
For a long time after that, I did not dabble in anymore fanfiction, but worked on novel re-writes. Basicaly, taking a novel that has allready been written, and re-writing it with different characters and a different direction. My biggest project was the re-telling of The Call of the Wild. The characters were re-named, and it was turned into more of a romance between Dante (based off Buck) and Zoicite (based off Curly). The book took nearly a year to re-write, and was considered one of my biggest accomplishments. Other re-writes were attempted, but never finnished.
I also had a variety of original works, my most prominant being Chapels Graveyard. An extensive story about a dog who took up residence at a graveyard after his master died. The first several chapters were from the point of view of people who saw him, and new chapters began with the next person to hear about the dog. The book ends with the last 5 chapters being about Chapel himself and his own perspective, which includes his experiences with the humans mentioned in the first part of the book. Another original was Oreo's Biography (not original title). This was basicaly a re-telling of my life with all the characters being dogs. I was actually surprised at how much human life can relate to those of dogs, and how animal like we tend to act most times. Other original works include The Curse, a story about a German Shepherd Dog who was trained in pit fighting and his struggle towards recovery, The Daniston Dogs, a story about five dogs and their unrivaled fasshion sense (dont ask, I was young at the time), and Travalers Wave, a story about two mixed breeds and their adventures while traveling to their homeland in Japan.
CURRENTLY
Currently I am a 22 year old College Graduate with an A.A.S. degree (associates in applied sciences). Unfortunately, you can do little more than line a bird cage with an associates degree, so I am going back to college for my bachelors in Graphic Design. I live at home and help maintain the house (my step father is out of work), and I work with Rough Collie breeders near my house. I am striving to learn all I can and I have dreams of being a hobby breeder and importer of Czech German Shepherd Dogs. I am a very devout Catholic, and practive my beliefs as much as I possibly can.
In the world of fanfiction, I have recently (somewhat) gotten back into a variety of areas where I am interested in writing fics. While my first passion is always anime and manga, I do dabble in some Disney like things, and Amblin things. Most of my anime work can be found on fanfiction.net at the account Sabara Winner. I have only a few fanfiction that is not centered around anime, the two major ones being my Balto fanfiction, and my Lion King Series, which centers around a character called Takkun, though he is sometimes re-named due to the fact that Takkun is not a Swahili name and has no real meaning.
The Balto series focuses on Balto and Jenna's pups as they are adults, and follows a rumor that Aleu and her pack have come under some issues with neighboring packs. The story is rather undeveloped, but it is mainly about pack life and Aleu's struggle in the 'real world' of pack structure, and the realization that her softer nature must be abandoned if she is to truely rule a pack. The other pack consists of all of my major roleplay wolf characters, the alpha being an older wolf named Kiogi (those who are REALLY old in forum based wolf rp, or from D2D should know this name), who is a very wise but strong leader who guides Aleu in learning how to control her pack.
Because this section was rather big and is not technicaly about me, my TLK3 Series' are on another page.
